The Honor Flange Clamp is a specialised temporary anchorage solution designed to enable safe entry and rescue operations in confined spaces, particularly through horizontal manholes and vessel access points.
Developed in collaboration with end users facing challenges during shutdowns, maintenance and process plant operations, the Flange Clamp provides a practical solution where traditional anchor points are difficult or impossible to install. Its compact design addresses restricted spaces commonly found between vessel flanges, insulation and platform railings.
The system mounts quickly onto the flange using two bolts, keeping the access opening completely unobstructed. A modular intermediate bracket with integrated cable guide roller is then attached, allowing installation of the required rescue, fall protection or lifting device.
