POWER PALLET TRUCK TRAINING
This course is for all employees who use mechanically operated pallet trucks to give them the knowledge and skills to operate this machine safely.
AIM
The aim of this course is to provide an opportunity for participants to become competent in applying the skills, knowledge and attitudes that are required to operate a pallet truck safely and effectively and in accordance with best practice.
OBJECTIVES
On completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the key aspects of legislation, which apply to the safe preparation, loading, and operation of a Power pallet truck.
- Prepare a Power pallet truck for work safely without risk to themselves or other people.
- Carry out daily and routine maintenance.
- State the identified knowledge that underpins understanding of operating a loaded Power pallet truck.
- Operate a Power pallet truck safely without risk to themselves or others.

EQUIPMENT
Machine must be in good order with all relevant current and valid certifications of inspections.
There must be a safe area for practical skills.
All delegates must have Safety Boots, Overalls, Hard Hats and Certified Harnesses on the days of the training.
CERTIFICATION
On successful completion of this course a Trade Safety Ltd Training Certificate & Card will be issued.
